Klegfrance creates UNIJECT S.A. with the objective of manufacturing door assemblies for refrigerated vehicles

 

1986

 

UNIJECT S.A. opens a digitally-controlled 3-axis machining centre specializing in vacuum injection moulding.

 

1990


UNIJECT SA opens its own engineering office and implements a CAD system.

 

1992

 

Diversification of production in the building sector. Development of a phenolic resin injection process for the manufacture of composite panels for the building sector. These panels receive M1 classification from CSTB (fire resistance).

1998


New shareholder and director Jean-Marc DEVISE is appointed the new CEO of the company.

 

2002

 

A production record: UNIJECT SA manufactures 5,500 refrigerated vehicle doors in a single year.

 

2003

 

Construction of a new 1000 m2 assembly shop. Covered production area now totals 2900 m2.

 

2004

 

Acquisition of a new 3-axis machining centre with digital control.

 

2006

 

Introduction of robots on one production line.

 

2007

 

A new production record: over 12,200 doors delivered in a single year.

Development of new easy-open side door.

An innovative injection process for utility vehicles: Hayon assembly – doors for the Renault Master X70.

Our composites production shop begins round-the-clock production with 3 daily shifts of 8 hours.
